LAUGH LIKE ME (Gordon Barclay/Gerry Mawhinney)
Club 1086 promoter Gordon Barclay and Sound Advice/Vinyl Club host Gerry Mawhinney present a new project titled ‘Laugh Like Me’. As the name suggests their focus is on musical output without taking themselves too seriously, however
they have quickly garnered a reputation for producing solid soundscapes covering a range of styles. With pending releases on Bulletdodge Records and remix work in the pipeline their years of hard work are beginning to gain recognition.

ELHOI VG (DISORDER EDINBURGH)
From his childhood Elhoi felt much affinity for all kinds of music and grew up listening to his older cousin’s music, who mixes techno from 80’s and 90’s. At the age of 12 began to familiarize with the hip hop culture and later on, he realized that in most of the concerts, the music was handled by a dj. This moment awakened his curiosity for techno music, and started to think about getting a mixer and a pair of mixing desks. At the beginning of year 2002 made his debut as a dj with the underground Mc TITO SOUL as the same time he was gaining experience. His first mixes of electro, minimal and techno music were in 2008 when his career as techno music dj starts, visiting clubs in Madrid such as Specka, Mambo club, Copola or Fabrik and taking part in the organization of Raves with EME COLECTIVE.
In 2012 Elhoi moves to Edinburgh seeking opportunities influenced by the style of Chris Liebing, Alan Fitzpatrick and Adam Beyer which are widely known in all Scotland. His leap abroad has opened a new way in his career.
